Synopsis
Feeling guilty after accidentally killing a restaurant owner, Hui, a transport-truck driver helps take care of the owner's pregnant wife Yan, concealing it was him that killed her husband while his own relationship falls apart.
Owner’s brother Kwan accidentally discovered Hui was his brother’s murderer, Kwan was outraged and assaulted Hui, Yan traumatized by the truth. To make things worse, Susan raised questions on her fiancé’s mysterious bruises, and Hui refused to divulge. All roads led to turmoil.
Yan was in labor and overwhelmed by Hui’s affection and care. Yet she believed his love was merely misguided sympathy, and they were meant to go on separate ways.
